Job Summary and Qualifications

5AM-3PM or 2pm-12am (2 shift minimum must be worked on the weekend in a given month)

The EKG Technician administers electrocardiogram (EKG) testing for patients and records the results for analysis by the physician. EKG Technicians are responsible for setting up and maintaining EKG equipment, performing cardiovascular tests, identifying heart conditions and ensuring patients are always comfortable and informed.

What You Will Do In This Role

You will perform cardiovascular testing according to established standards and departmental policies.

You will effectively explain the procedure to the patient and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the process.

You will maintain records, charge copies and chart test results for all procedures.

You will perform the daily data maintenance of the MUSE data management system.

You will clean and maintain equipment and ensure an adequate level of supplies are available.

You may assist with patient scheduling.
