Description
Amazon is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer Level I to join our AI Technology team within Amazon's Consumer Electronics Technology (CE-Tech) organization. You'll be part of a team that drives AI innovation across Amazon's BEATS division, working on cutting-edge applications of machine learning and generative AI to enhance customer shopping experiences and vendor/internal tooling.

Key job responsibilities
Develop, test and maintain high-quality code for innovative and scalable ML systems and AI-powered features that serve millions of customers as well as partners and internal users, following established coding standards and best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation for your work.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Learn and apply company development tools, frameworks, and processes.
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
Work with senior engineers to understand architectural decisions and implementation approaches. Both contribute to as well as learn from team discussions on technical solutions.
Support deployment and maintenance of software systems
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $99,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $200,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
