As a **Security Officer – Armed Transit Center** in **Reno, NV** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed security professional in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This position requires carrying a firearm as part of your daily responsibilities.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

PLUS ADDITIONAL ARMED BONUS $3000!!

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observing for any unusual circumstances.

+ Interact with the public and staff in a professional manner, addressing questions or concerns as they arise.

+ Document and report any incidents, observations, or activities as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have an Armed Designation.

+ Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.

+ Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.

+ Nevada Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
