Are you an experienced accounting professional seeking an opportunity to take your career to the next level? Robert Half is partnering with a leading company to find a skilled Senior Accountant for a contract-to-hire position. Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

+ Prepare and review journal entries for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

+ Analyze financial statements and reports, providing insights to leadership for informed decision-making.

+ Oversee intercompany transactions, accounts reconciliations, and consolidations as needed.

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.

+ Work closely with auditors to support internal and external audit requests.

+ Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparation of required documentation.

+ Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

+ 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience in public accounting or a mid-to-large corporate environment is highly preferred.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Experience with ERP systems is a strong advantage.

+ In-depth understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles; familiarity with financial reporting processes.

+ High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to liaise with teams and stakeholders effectively.
