• Property Manager

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Memphis, TN)


    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Property Manager to provide essential support to various properties in Memphis, Tennessee. This role involves managing compliance, coordinating maintenance needs, and ensuring smooth operations for affordable housing programs. The ideal candidate will excel in both remote and onsite property management tasks, while maintaining a strong focus on organizational efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process certifications and prepare lease agreements to ensure compliance with affordable housing programs and company policies.

    • Coordinate with maintenance teams to address repair needs, preventive measures, and unit readiness.

    • Work closely with the Management to plan onsite activities such as resident appointments, document reviews, and unit inspections.

    • Provide onsite support to properties as needed, adhering to budgetary guidelines.

    • Offer file processing support to staffed properties when time permits.

    • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to keep operations running efficiently.

    • Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet compliance standards.

    • Support the optimization of onsite staff schedules and workflows.

     

    Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as AMSI, AppFolio, and ADP.

     

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accrual accounting.

    • Experience with account coding and auditing processes.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

    • Familiarity with affordable housing compliance requirements.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work both remotely and onsite as needed.

    • Prior experience in property management or a related field.
