Description
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and excels in managing financial records and processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our accounting functions and supporting the organization’s financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Manage bank reconciliations, tracking transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Oversee bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining ledgers and recording daily financial activities.
• Prepare and execute month-end close processes to finalize financial statements.
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update accounting records efficiently.
• Handle sales tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Process payroll tax returns accurately and on time.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to assist in decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial workflows and improve efficiency.
• Maintain organized and secure records of financial transactions.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in completing month-end close procedures.
• Familiarity with preparing and submitting sales tax and payroll tax returns.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate insightful reports.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within a team environment.
