    Job Description :

    The Asset Management Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the team and the operational tasks demanded by the Asset Management process flows; this covers end-to-end hardware and software asset management.

     

    The purpose of the Asset Management team is to control and protect the company hardware and software assets, ensuring data accuracy and making best use of the company hardware and software assets.

    Responsibilities:

    + Oversee the complete operational workload of Asset Management processes, from procurement to hardware and software disposal, while supporting the Asset Management Manager as needed.

    + Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives, leveraging hardware and software to meet those needs. Regularly gather and act on stakeholder feedback.

    + Oversee the annual budgeting process for business hardware expenditures

    + Manage and review Change records related to Asset Management processes, providing input on proposed changes.

    + Identify and propose improvements for toolsets, such as the Service Management Tool and SAM Tool, to ensure they are fit for purpose.

    + Communicate any changes to hardware and software asset management processes to key stakeholders and the business.

    + Organize and participate in internal and vendor meetings to support Asset Management processes.

    + Propose and implement changes to Asset Management processes, ensuring proper document control.

    + Administer and maintain the desktop hardware environment within the CMS, including Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Mobile assets.

    + Investigate process failures and escalate issues to the Desktop Services Manager when necessary.

    + Maintain the Definitive Media Library to ensure accurate software asset management and license reporting.

    + Identify operational-level service improvement opportunities to ensure process compliance.

    + Support the Desktop Services Manager and provide reports to other Service Management functions as required.

    + Achieve and exceed Asset Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    + Ensure Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) within Asset Management.

    + Follow process, procedure, and work instruction documentation, highlighting areas for improvement or training needs.

    + Facilitate hardware and software license reporting and vendor audits using available tools.

    + Identify cost-saving opportunities in the procurement of hardware and software assets.

    Requirements:

    + ITIL V3 Foundation level qualification.

    + Experience with the ServiceNow Service Management Tool.

    + iSEB SAM Foundation qualification.

    + iSEB Software Asset Management Practitioner qualification is desirable.

    + Experience with SNOW LM Software Asset Management tool.

    + A qualification in a technical discipline is desirable, demonstrating skills in understanding, investigating, analyzing, and presenting complex information.

    + ISO 20000 Foundation certification.

    + Relevant experience in a support function within a medium to large organization.

    + Google Apps Suite knowledge

    + Microsoft portal experience

    Job Category:

    Pay Range: 75000 - 95,000
