    Job Purpose

    Position Overview

    Lead Cleanpart-Phoenix operations as the center of excellence for advanced node semiconductor part cleaning services. Manage manufacturing, maintenance and engineering staff to achieve excellence in safety, the highest precision cleaning standards, best in industry service reliability and precision cleaning quality standards are achieved. Site Manager works closely with GM, Senior Operations Manager, Finance Director, Quality Director and Tech Sales manager to achieve business goals.

     

    Responsible and accountable for ensuring the site safety and environmental compliance, safety culture and the safety of site employees, site operational costs, operational performance metrics, and quality performance. Has shared responsibility for profit and loss performance of the site. The site manager leads the CP-Phoenix site team and as a member works closely with the team to achieve success.

     

    The site manager will establish and reinforce good operational discipline/processes and establish operations metrics and annual continual improvement plans to drive EHS, productivity, cost and quality continuous improvement. Site manager provides CAPEX input for the site regarding critical needs as well as investments that provide performance gains.

     

    The site manager is responsible for working closely with the Technical Sales Manager and team to coordinate planning and implementation of growth project initiatives on time and on budget. This includes the qualifications of new customers, services and equipment.

    Principal Accountabilities

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Direct supervision of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), manufacturing supervisor, maintenance techs, engineers, admin clerk, – lead and develop team member(s) to achieve a high level of performance and results through teamwork.

    + Responsible for the safety of his team members. Compliance with safety environmental regulations and Cleanpart/MCA standards and policies.

    + Setting a positive example and ensuring policies and procedures are followed by setting high standards and accountability for rule compliance.

    + Creating injury-free culture through safety programs, awareness, and continuous improvement. Ensuring compliance to safety rules and coaching safe behavior.

    + On-time delivery of services to customers

    + Improving production efficiency and capacity to achieve lower cost services and improved margins. Identifying bottlenecks and eliminating them.

    + Proactively communicating issues and opportunities.

    + Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing department safety, health and related items, and improvement of equipment/production methods. Ensure that high standards of 5S housekeeping are met and sustained. Monitor daily operations and coordinate production tasks such that work in process (WIP) is managed efficiently to ensure customer orders are safely shipped on time.

    + Plans /schedules manufacturing work. Coordinates preventive maintenance and breakdown repair with maintenance supervisor.

    + Coordinate daily personnel assignments to ensure production schedules and delivery commitments are achieved. Plans / approves and schedules technician work schedules including overtime and paid time off (PTO).

    + Motivates/inspire technicians to achieve high levels of performance. Creates a positive and supportive work environment, open communication, teamwork, continuous improvement activities and sharing of best practices.

    + Provides technicians with employee performance reviews, attendance, disciplinary matters, and personnel developmental needs.

    + Ensure personnel are trained and certified to safely perform their production tasks.

    + Tracks daily work requirements, coordinates traveler status and tracks traveler completion and the efficient utilization of production technician time.

    + Provide training in safety as applicable to the job tasks and function. Review, revise and approve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safey Analysis (JSA’s) within Manufacturing Department.

    + Conduct effective root cause analysis when investigating production-related non-conformances, provide constructive corrective action recommendation, and foster solution implementation

    + Update quality records completely and accurately within required data collection systems and databases

    + Manage various improvement projects as required. Coordinates/collaborates with maintenance and engineering on any opportunities to improve equipment safety, reliability and performance.

    + Develops manufacturing performance tracking measures/targets which include safety leading/lagging indicators, 5S housekeeping, manufacturing output to goals, manufacturing technician efficiency, cost control, rule compliance, quality performance, on-time delivery etc.

    + Ensures, raw materials, supplies etc. are purchased and inventories managed so that there are no interruptions to servicing customers as a result of material or supply outages. This is balanced with the cost of carrying inventory and the space available.

    + Plans capex needs for the operations areas, prepares capex proposals and manages the execution of projects

    + Coordinates qualification trials with engineering

    + Supports financial analysis and forecasting for special project assignments etc.

    + Effective communication with all levels of staff within the organization

    + Leads the Site Leadership team. Involvement in Plant decision making, goal setting and management via formal daily and monthly meetings as well as other impromptu meetings regarding urgent matters. Responsible for plants’ performance as a member of this team.

     

    Knowledge / Skills / Experience

    Qualifications

    + Minimum of 7 – 10 years manufacturing supervisory/managerial experience in chemical, specialty chemical manufacturing or semiconductor precision cleaning operations. Semiconductor experience preferred.

    + BS degree in Chemistry or Chemical engineering desired.

    + Good knowledge of safety management, process safety management and OSHA regulatory requirements

    + Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management

    + Knowledge of inventory management

    + Knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and workforce management in partnership with Human Resources

    + Leadership skills; ability to recruit, hire and motivate a successful team

    + Professional demeanor with all levels of the organization, able to partner and communicate with senior leadership across the organization.

    + Demonstrated ability to coach, lead and train team on-site.

    + Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)

    + Minimum 7 – 10 years’ experience with Operational cost management and control

    + Good oral and written communication skills

    + Must have on call availability as site operates 7 days a week

    + **The salary range for this position is $119,700 - $149,600. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.**
