**VCA Animal Emergency Critical Care** at The LifeCentre in Leesburg, VA is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician or LVT-eligible to join our team on evenings and overnights!

We are currently offering:

+ $2,500 Sign On Bonus

+ Weekend and Overnight Shift Differential Pay

+ 12-hour shifts or 10-hour rotational shifts (3 on / 3 off)

About the Role

We want you to utilize your skills and knowledge to the fullest, while continuing to learn and grow. Duties will include:

+ Patient triage and assessment

+ Client education and care

+ Venipuncture, catheter placement

+ Laboratory sample collection and processing

+ Radiology and diagnostic testing

+ Medication preparation and administration

+ IV fluids and infusion set up and maintenance

+ Anesthesia monitoring

+ Surgical preparation and assisting

+ Safe and effective patient handling and restraint

+ Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients

+ Medical recordkeeping

Qualifications

+ Licensed Veterinary Technician in Virginia, license-eligible, or enrolled in an AVMA accredited program. Technician students are welcome to apply.

+ Salary is competitive with consideration taken for experience and discussed upon hiring.
