    Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

    Job Description

    The Supply Chain Manager will develop and lead the execution of supply chain strategies to support objectives such as material cost reduction, supplier on-time delivery, inventory reduction, supplier quality, and lead time improvements. This role involves rationalizing the supply base, increasing sourcing from low-cost sources, leveraging material spend across business units, implementing supplier agreements, and reducing administrative costs within Supply Chain functions.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee site tactical procurement activities, receiving, stockroom, and shipping departments, ensuring data integrity in the system.

    + Address all issues affecting on-time delivery and product quality from suppliers.

    + Coordinate meetings and publish minutes to keep Value Stream and Site management informed of any issues that may delay shipments.

    + Lead efforts to develop, implement, and manage alternate material replenishment methods to increase turns year over year while ensuring 100% customer on-time delivery and lead time reduction.

    + Support new product introduction procurement requirements.

    + Develop visual standard work for major processes and ensure compliance.

    + Implement processes to reduce the number of transactions required for material and information flows.

    + Assist Value Stream Managers in establishing 'point of use' inventory, ARMs, make/buy decisions, and other initiatives.

    + Monitor supplier scrap, manage in-house rejects of purchased parts, and collaborate with suppliers to reduce supplier-generated scrap.

    + Coordinate technical communications with suppliers and obtain corrective actions promptly.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.

    + 3+ years of management experience.

    + 5 years of experience with ERP systems.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and MRP/ERP systems.

    + Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.

    + Proven negotiation and contract management skills.

    + Strong customer service orientation.

    + Proven expertise in developing supplier quality systems and metrics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience implementing lean concepts such as Value Stream Mapping and 5S.

    + Prior experience with pull systems/Kanban component flow.

    + Extensive sourcing experience and experience with eSourcing tools.

    + Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

    + Demonstrated success in developing and executing supply chain strategies.

    + BS degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.

    + Lean/Six Sigma certification (black belt or green belt).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
