What are your contributions to the team?

+ Ensure our operations comply with legal regulatory standards, procedures, and policies, in particular with FAR/DFARS, Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

+ Monitor regulatory changes, assessing their impact, and implementing necessary compliance policies and procedures.

+ Conduct internal compliance audits, prepare detailed reports for management, and collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.

+ Maintain and organize accurate records of compliance activities, audit findings, and regulatory changes, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

+ Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance with FAR/DFARS and government terminology and requirements.

+ Serve as the contact for compliance-related inquiries, offering advice and resolution on regulatory issues.

+ Identify and address compliance risks, research disputes, and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and processes.

+ Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in government compliance.

+ Recommend improvements to compliance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

+ Create Policies and Procedures governing compliance needs as required and ensure their implementation.

How to thrive in this role?

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance or a related field.

+ Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, EAR and ITAR regulations and their application in government contracts.

+ Experience in the Aerospace or Defense sector is an advantage

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to synthesize information for executive level briefings and recommendations

+ Ability to interpret complex regulations and contract terms.

+ Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and documentation abilities.

You may be required to travel domestically and internationally.
