    Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

     

    The Project Manager will report to the Project Director or Senior Project Director, with matrixed supervision by the Senior PM for the given assignment. This position involves supervising the activities of the Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineers, and Superintendents. The role includes assisting in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects to achieve management objectives.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist Senior Project Manager in coordinating all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications.

    + Manage primary interface with subcontractors and vendors.

    + Coordinate project activities and ensure procurement of sub-contract and purchase orders.

    + Oversee construction billings and cash flow projects.

    + Implement robust progress measurement and earned value methods.

    + Conduct project schedule analysis and updates.

    + Document meeting minutes and generate monthly reports.

    + Manage change management reports and application for payment verification.

    + Administer contracts and manage punch lists.

    + Review warranties and ensure as-built documentation.

    + Coordinate resources to achieve project goals and maintain client interactions.

    + Generate project scopes of work and communicate them to the project team.

    + Maintain project schedules and monitor performance against target schedules.

    + Monitor and report project costs, including committed values and forecasts.

    + Manage project costs and exposures in collaboration with Project Services.

    + Assist with site safety oversight and establish site safety programs.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent technical degree.

    + Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Delivery or related discipline.

    + Superior communication and organizational development skills.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

    + Entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence in job performance.

    + Creativity and innovation in improving solutions, tools, and methods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Engineering experience and report writing skills.

    + Proficiency in project management and project engineering.

    + Knowledge of construction, civil engineering, and construction management.

    + Familiarity with wiring schematics, EIT, and OSHA 30.

    + Experience with AutoCAD and the pharmaceutical industry.

    + Skills in design, pharmaceutical purification, and organizational leadership.

    Work Environment

    This position involves 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project, with potential assignments to client sites for extended periods. Overnight travel or staying in the city of the client's location is possible, depending on the assignment. Visits to client sites require adherence to safety rules, and visits to construction sites necessitate site safety training and compliance. The role is considered safety-sensitive, acting as a field contractor supervisor for field work.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $72.11 - $105.76/hr.
