Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Job Description
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on both semis and trailers. This role involves a variety of tasks including oil changes, tire replacements, brake repairs, light engine work, and wheel seal replacements. You will start by shadowing a tenured technician to gain confidence before working independently. The position requires versatility in working on both trailers and trucks.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers.
+ Perform oil changes, tire replacements, and brake repairs.
+ Execute light engine work and replace wheel seals.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
+ Utilize pneumatics and transmission repair techniques.
+ Ensure diesel engine maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 1+ years' experience in diesel repair.
+ Proficiency in preventative maintenance procedures.
+ Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must own personal tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $66560.00/yr.
