    Job Description

    The Production Supervisor is responsible for maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. This role ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment while fostering personal growth opportunities. The Production Supervisor accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information.

    + Communicate regularly with other managers, the director, vice president, president, and other designated contacts within the organization.

    + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    + Complete all written documents needed by office staff related to work area responsibilities.

    + Ensure employees are working efficiently and goals are being met.

    + Use the production schedule to ensure all production lines have the necessary materials.

    + Verify data integrity by ensuring employees' products meet standards.

    + Understand and follow quality sign-off procedures.

    + Understand and follow all safety procedures.

    + Understand and follow all food safety and food quality issues and proper documentation.

    + Know and follow all GMPs.

    Essential Skills

    + Management/Supervision/Team lead experience.

    + Planning/Scheduling experience.

    + Production supervision.

    + High-speed work environment familiarity.

    + Communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Flexible hours to cover call-offs.

    + Raw material experience.

    + Food manufacturing experience is not necessary.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is within Plant 1, a roasting facility equipped with oil and dry roasters on site. The facility is not temperature controlled, but windows are opened for air drying of nuts.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Solon, Ohio.

    The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $62000.00/yr.
