Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
This role involves working as a dock worker and production associate to manage the movement of chlorine tanks. Responsibilities include manually or using a forklift to move tanks, assisting in loading and unloading trucks, staging, shipping, and receiving materials. Additionally, the position requires helping rebuild valves for tanks, operating equipment to pressurize valves, and learning how to fill tanks with chlorine. Cleaning and prepping tanks, including removing old labels, is also part of the job.
Responsibilities
+ Move empty and full tanks of chlorine manually or with a forklift.
+ Assist in loading, unloading trucks, staging, shipping, and receiving materials.
+ Help in rebuilding valves for tanks.
+ Operate equipment to pressurize valves onto tanks.
+ Move completed pallets of tanks to staging or shipping areas using a forklift.
+ Learn how to fill tanks with chlorine.
+ Clean, prep, and remove old labels from tanks.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in a production environment, preferably GMP regulated.
+ 1+ year of forklift experience.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Safety-oriented mindset.
+ Comfortable working with computers, printing labels, and assisting with shipments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with chemical handling and labeling.
+ Ability to follow instructions and take orders.

Work Environment
Candidates will work in a chemical environment, which may smell of ammonia or chlorine. Protective wear, including face shields, glasses, and full rubber suits, is provided for handling chemicals. The core hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime. There may be instances where work hours are adjusted with advance notice.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.12 - $25.00/hr.
