Job Title: Marine Electrician
Up to $28 Hourly
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join our team, focusing on repairing and refurbishing electrical systems aboard ships. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical theory and the ability to interpret various technical documents.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret work specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
+ Write reports, order materials, and report any abnormal conditions related to safety or mechanical issues.
+ Troubleshoot complex problems on electrical equipment and systems.
+ Run cabling into a ship, excluding pin connectorization or live terminations.
+ Assist in repairing and refurbishing electrical lighting systems, communication systems, and other electrical systems aboard the ship.
Essential Skills
+ Strong electrical experience, including an understanding of basic electrical theory.
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
+ Experience with wiring, troubleshooting, meters, and cables.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
