Job Description
Our Global Supplier Management Group (GSMG) partners with the business stakeholders to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services that enables the commercialization of our medicines, vaccines and Animal Health products. We are multinational organization grouped into centralized categories and regional operating teams.
The Senior Specialist, NA Transportation Procurement is an integral role that sits within the Integrated Logistics Procurement & Sourcing Operations team. The role will report into the NA Transportation Procurement Lead.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Category management ensuring compliance with the procurement process, alignment of implementing sourcing strategies for Transportation and Thermal Protection System categories.
+ Support project execution and drive sourcing activities (RFI, RFP, e-sourcing, Supplier onboarding, Due Diligence, Negotiation, Contracting).
+ Involvement in all of our Company's divisions: our Manufacturing Division; our Animal Health Division; our Research & Development Division.
+ Participate in the Transportation Supply Strategy Council (SSC). Establishing and leading cross-functional teams through structured process (SSC) to develop and deliver procurement strategies that create value for the organization.
+ **Supplier Performance Management** - Build relationships and continuous improvement mindset with strategic suppliers
+ **Stakeholder Alignment and Management** – ensure buy-in, develop and support stakeholder initiatives, support profit planning process. Work in a way that positively engages the support of stakeholders using problem solving and proactive communication skills.
+ **Project and Change Management** - High quality project and program management skills and a proven ability to manage change both internal and external to successful completion.
+ **Diversity & Sustainability** - Actively participate in achieving organization's supplier diversity and sustainability goals.
+ **Proactive Cost Management -** Achieve cost control, cost reduction, and cost containment targets, and add value to area of expenditure through a strong Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) orientation and process management.
+ Collaborate with the Centralized Function team members to ensure compliance and adherence to our company's procurement processes.
+ Support project management activities (manage project plans, track, and follow-up on actions).
+ Ensure that all contracts for NA Transportation category maintained and managed according to our policy.
Education Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree required
Required Experience and Skills:
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic procurement, supply chain, logistics or related role.
+ Good analytical skills, ability to translate data into insights.
+ Knowledge in the Logistics field
+ Proven success in developing and executing global or regional procurement activities
+ Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels
+ Self-starter and able to work in dynamic environment, adaptive, flexible, and able to multitask.
+ Experience in conducting business reviews and developing communication plan.
+ Proven ability to collaborate with a wide variety of individuals, including senior management, stakeholders, team members, other departments and suppliers
+ Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment
+ Effective time management skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, conflict management
+ Experience with e-sourcing tools.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
+ Analytical - Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze large complex data sets to derive relevant intelligence in developing sourcing strategies or supporting negotiations
+ Industry experience - Strong experience in either logistics procurement or logistics.

The salary range for this role is
$94,300.00 - $148,500.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
