    Position: Marching Band Assistant Director - Part-Time (Posting number 2526-3407)

     

    Date: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026

    We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:

    + Experience working with a competitive high school marching band season is essential.

    + Candidates must possess strong organizational, leadership, intrapersonal and communication skills.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Assist with planning and teaching facets of a competitive marching field band program, to potentially include: winds, percussion, auxiliary

    + Help recruit and cultivate strong student participation

    + Promote the Marching Band, both in the district and in the greater community under the guidance of the Marching Band Director

    + Monitor and uphold the district’s eligibility policy as it applies to participation in the Marching Band

    + With guidance by the Marching Band Director, work closely with parent volunteers and the booster organization

    + Help facilitate collaborative relationships with district music teachers

    + Assume other duties as assigned by the Marching Band Director

    + Experience working with a competitive high school marching band season essential.

     

    Salary: As per current WTA Contract based on education and experience
