• Senior Systems Engineer

    ManTech (Lexington Park, MD)


    **ManTech** is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Systems Engineer, Senior** to join our team in the **Lexington Park, MD** area. This is an **onsite** position.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Provide technical leadership to a team tasked with identifying, formulating, designing, and testing solutions to known system issues/problems

    + Responsible for guiding the development of new and complex systems, employing system engineering methodologies and tools throughout the development phase

    + Provide expertise to research, analyze, and develop tools and methods to integrate with modeling environments

    + Conduct research in applied systems engineering as necessary in support of advancing the field

    + This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%)

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Master of Arts or Master of Science degree in a Technical or Scientific area is required, OR a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a Technical or Scientific area, PLUS an additional 4 years of recent and relevant experience, for a total of fourteen 14 years of recent and relevant experience, may be substituted for a MA or MS degree

    + 10+ years in tandem of recent and relevant experience in an area of engineering; 3 of those years MUST be directly related to DoD systems

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Engineering experience with Navy aviation systems

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must be a US Citizen

    + Top Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract

    Physical Requirements:

    + Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.

    + Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS, ZOOM).
