Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISITICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND SUSTAINMENT GROUP of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will act as the single point of contact for property matters for NAVAIR and provides property accountability, program management and oversight for the NAVAIR enterprise. You will maintain consolidated warehousing programs including but not limited to Interim Supply Support, Central Kitting Activity, Special Tooling/Special Test Equipment, and Consolidated Advanced Property Storage. You will proactively participate in determining command-wide Logistics Competency staffing levels, and determines the distribution of personnel resources relative to CPO workload across the site. You will develop policies and procedures to ensure the efficient execution of CPO logistics responsibilities consistent with USN and DOD directives. You will direct periodic reviews and audits to assess property accountability, management system effectiveness, and policy compliance throughout NAVAIR Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following :1) Understanding of Department of Navy Property Governance Council policy and procedures to manage all property acquired, leased, or obtained through accountability and custody; 2) Identifying and recommending Accountable Property Systems of Record for approval to ensure integration with core financial and other systems and process for logistics and acquisition; 3) Directing reviews and audits to assess property accountability, management system effectiveness and policy compliance; 4) Collecting and retaining physical inventory progress reports from the NAVAIR enterprise; 5) Supporting financial improvements and audit efforts.
