We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented phlebotomist to join our healthcare team for a full-time position, working 40 hours per week from 2PM to 10:30PM, with rotating weekends and holidays. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately performing phlebotomy and specimen collection for both inpatients and outpatients. The samples you collect are crucial for laboratory test procedures that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Additionally, you will perform essential computer, courier, and clerical functions to support laboratory operations. You will work closely with and under the supervision of Medical Technologists to ensure the highest standards of patient care and laboratory efficiency

Responsibilities:

+ Phlebotomy and Specimen Collection: Accurately perform phlebotomy and specimen collection for both inpatients and outpatients.

+ Sample Handling: Collect samples that are essential for laboratory test procedures aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

+ Support Functions: Perform essential computer, courier, and clerical functions to support laboratory operations.

+ Collaboration: Work closely with and under the supervision of Medical Technologists to ensure the highest standards of patient care and laboratory efficiency.

+ High school diploma or equivalent is required.

+ Certification from an accredited Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant program is preferred.

+ Minimum 6 months experience performing phlebotomy is preferred.
