UW Medical Center - Northwest's Childcare Center** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Director** **WORK SCHEDULE
+ 100% FTE
+ Day Shift **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
+ Showcase your strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills
+ Work with a passionate team that provides excellent care to children **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Have operational oversight over the Childcare Center
+ Communicate and interact with 70+ families, 18-20 staff and children aged infant through 5 years old
+ Classroom Scheduling, transition schedules, maintaining waiting lists, organize staff meetings
+ Plan and participate in outside activities for families such as parent night, Halloween party graduation party, etc
+ Complete any state required paperwork – immunization records, licensing requirements, etc.
+ Maintain and complete monthly and annual budget, meet regularly with the executive director
+ Work with Department of Early Learning to understand new WAC requirements when they are updated
+ Annual and probationary Performance Reviews, interview prospective employees, new hire onboarding
+ Maintain relationships with outside services and public agencies such as Public Health department
+ Maintain and update the NWH website – including adding new pictures, updating staff information, menu, policies, etc.
+ Meet regularly with staff to problem solve, listen to, and guide **REQUIREMENTS**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child and Family Studies, Human Development, Early Childhood Education
+ 5 years in supervisory role, and experience working in an early Learning facility **ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-NORTHWEST**
