    UW Medical Center Montlake and Northwest's Center for Clinical Excellence department** has an outstanding opportunity for an **Associate Director, Clinical Analytics** **WORK SCHEDULE

    + Responsible for the leadership and direction of system and entity specific quality initiatives, analytics, data registries and data abstraction **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**

    UW Medical Center’s Montlake and Northwest Center for Clinical Excellence Department

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Support the Center for Clinical Excellence department by leading data driven performance improvement projects

    + Incorporate both system-wide strategic and entity specific initiatives in quality improvement and reporting

    + Effectively communicate with leadership and direct resources to support change across all levels of the organization

    + Collaborate with physician stakeholders, committees, and senior leadership to achieve goals

    + Supervise the CCE Manager of Quality Reporting and Analytics and the Surgical and Procedural Abstraction Team members

    + Plan, direct work, counsel, coach, and review work products, providing instruction and advice

    + Collaborate with CCE manager of quality reporting and analytics to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of various databases, tables and reports

    + Analyze and make recommendations for improved data quality

    + Coordinate and oversee data submission for NDNQI

    + Collaborate with variety of individuals across campuses to coordinate data collection, validation, and timely data submission to ensure accurate reporting for hospital performance.

    + Partner with the clinical analytics team to review and validate data sources, data definitions, location mapping, and strategies for efficient data collection, interpretation, and reporting

    + Determine appropriate staffing requirements and optimal departmental organization **REQUIREMENTS**

    + Master’s Degree in healthcare or a clinical related field

    + Minimum 6 years of experience with data analysis, data visualization and data reporting

    + Minimum 5 years’ experience in Healthcare Quality/Performance Improvement

    + Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team within healthcare
