    Stanford University Human Resources (UHR) is seeking an 18 month fixed-term HR Product Management Analyst that supports collaboration with Stanford’s UHR and UIT departments to enhance HR service delivery by testing and releasing new enhancements to the university’s core HR products. This position reports to the HR Product Management Supervisor. This position is at our Stanford Redwood City campus.

    JOB PURPOSE:

    Under direct supervision, the HR Product Management Analyst supports collaboration with Stanford’s UHR and UIT departments to enhance HR service delivery by testing and releasing new enhancements to the university’s core HR products. Key responsibilities include supporting the continual improvement of HR products through critical testing of new and enhanced software functionality to release to the HR community. The HR Product Management Analyst acts as a trusted Center of Expertise subject matter expert for the HR Service Center, addressing escalated HR product questions. The ideal candidate understands a wide range of HR processes, policies, and procedures, test system functionality and ensure integrity of HR workflows and processes remain intact. This role upholds Stanford’s vision, culture, and values.

    CORE DUTIES*:

    + **HR Product Management & Maintenance:** **Support the continual improvement of HR service delivery across processes and technology through Oracle HCM product testing and maintenance (intermediate to moderate complexity). Serve as a resource for testing new product releases and system upgrades in a controlled environment before production release to end users. Support the application of system updates and upgrades of new features and improvements to HR Products to HR. Provide subject matter support in maintaining legacy HRIS functionality for specific programs testing intermediate to moderately complex functionality and service requests.**

    + **Customer Support/Training & Analytics:** **Support customers and requests from technology department in addressing and resolving product issues to minimize potential downtime. Quickly address and resolve escalated system related issues from the HR community. Proactively monitor Oracle HCM to help identify methods to update and simplify the efficiency and effectiveness of the Oracle solutions delivered to the HR community. Collaborate between UHR departments and UIT to ensure seamless integration, usability, and functionality of HR products.** **Provide training and ongoing support to HR staff and employees on HR products, including new feature rollouts or system updates. Develop user documentation and training materials to ensure HR teams and end users understand how to use HR systems effectively.**

    + **Service Excellence & Communication:** **Quickly address and resolve Oracle HCM product related issues to minimize disruptions. Collaborate with HR, COEs, and IT leaders to continually test and improve HR products, support alignment with and enhance current processes and workflows, drive optimal delivery of Oracle HCM catalog of services. Regularly monitor and resolve ServiceNow tickets, maintain adherence to SLAs, and openly communicate the progress and status of requests through resolution. Maintain open lines of communication between teammates, COEs, IT and the HR organization at large. Contribute to an inclusive environment by building and maintaining collaborative relationships with team members, peers, and leaders across the HR organization.**

    + **HR Acumen Competency:** **Provide Oracle HCM product support by leveraging knowledge of HR technology, as well as HR programs, processes, and procedures to ensure the product is functioning effectively and driving Stanford HR business requirements. Use knowledge to proactively monitor and audit HR systems and data. Supports the creation of knowledge articles and related collateral to improve understanding of new or changed functionality because of Oracle HCM enhancements**

    + **Business Understanding:** **Understand alignment between HR product management and overall HR strategy. Demonstrate, through words, actions, and ideas, alignment to Stanford’s Strategic Plan and the HR Organization’s Strategic Plan.**

    _MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:_

    _Education & Experience:_

     

    _Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in Human Resources Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience._

    _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_

    + **_Experience working as an HRIS Analyst, HR Operations, or in a HR product support role responsible for testing releases and ensuring alignment with current workflows and procedures._**

    + **_Experience supporting the maintenance of HR products (e.g., HRIS)._**

    + **_Strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to think strategically and creatively to test moderately complex product releases._**

    + **_Team-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively._**

    + **_Experience working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities._**

    + **_Ability to provide support and guidance as needed on projects._**

    + **_Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information._**

    + **_Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)_**

     

    _Certifications and Licenses:_

     

    _SHRM-CP or PHR preferred._** **_CBAP or similar preferred._

    _PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:_

    + **_Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, and use a telephone._**

    + **_Occasionally write by hand, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds, sort/file paperwork._**

    + **_Rarely kneel/crawl, operate foot and/or hand controls._**

    _The expected pay range for this position is $83,000 - $95,000 per annum._** **_Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs._
