    **Schedule:** Monday to Friday | 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a motivated and hands-on **Equipment & Tool Engineer** to join a dynamic Production Engineering team in support of groundbreaking work within the aerospace industry. Based in Auburn, WA, this electrical/controls-focused role supports advanced fabrication projects that keep global aerospace systems running safely and efficiently.     _This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license._

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    As an Equipment & Tool Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing the tooling systems that power modern aerospace production. Expect to be deeply involved on the production floor, collaborating with mechanics, safety professionals, and engineering teams to improve and implement automated systems.

    Day-to-day responsibilities include:

    + Designing and implementing complex tooling and equipment systems to meet evolving production needs

    + Reviewing and validating electrical schematics and control panel layouts

    + Managing projects for automation system acquisitions and upgrades

    + Ensuring compliance with safety, ergonomic, and regulatory requirements

    + Drafting and releasing bid and procurement specs for new equipment

    + Troubleshooting production issues to improve quality and efficiency

    + Supporting asset evaluations and configuration control processes

     

    What You Bring

    Required:

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

    + Familiarity with electrical/controls systems, schematics, and production tooling

    + Strong interest in process improvement and hands-on problem solving

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a production environment

    Preferred:

    + 2+ years of project management experience in technical roles

    + Experience with automation or robotics systems

    + Knowledge of Java, SQL, or similar programming languages

    + Familiarity with industry standards for electrical systems design

    + Effective communication and teamwork skills

    + Capacity to adapt and thrive in fast-paced engineering environments

    **Pay Details:** $43.00 to $48.00 per hour
