Overview
The Director, Brand Experience (Multicultural) contributes to crafting media plans and strategies that reflect the diversity of our client's target audiences. You’ll work with various partners, ensuring high quality of work and accuracy. As the Director, you’ll foster innovation in media and cultural strategies, and act as a trusted leader across account, reaching diverse consumers, navigating the diverse-owned media landscape, and creating inclusive media initiatives to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
+ Leads the development of inclusive multicultural communications strategies that activate consumer insights, drive innovation for clients, and provide structure for brand channel presence/priorities. Works in partnership with Brand
+ Experience teams leading category & brand work.
+ Brings tactical-level multicultural expertise and insights forward in the development of overall brand strategies, media plans, partner consideration sets, planning stewardship, and reporting/analytics
+ Works collaboratively with broader strategy and brand experience teams to analyze client business situation to identify key opportunities to reach and connect with diverse consumers.
+ Build audience profiles and insights that illustrate diverse consumer behavioral and psychographic motivations.
+ Goes beyond demographics and top-level findings to deliver insightful illustration on consumer habits, preferences, and channel behaviors that are rooted in culture.
+ Supports development of and identifies key roles for diverse consumers, diverse-reaching and diverse-owned media partners, and targeting tactics.
+ Helps to define how media should complement and connect with other activity & initiatives.
+ Partners with Investment and Data/Analytics teams, ensuring that the diverse consumer strategies are actioned in the marketplace and accounted for appropriately within measurement frameworks and learning agendas.
+ Assists in the development of client-facing well-rounded presentations & recommendations.
+ Supports development of culturally led POVs, recommendations, and requests with the support of the broader team.
+ Establish and develop client relationships by understanding client business needs and applying expertise to create tangible solutions, with a drive for curiosity and passion for innovation in creating culturally centric activations that drive client business.
+ Stays current on industry developments, macro and consumer trends, technology, and cultural movements.
Qualifications
+ 8+ years of extensive media planning experience with concentration in culture-first media strategy & planning across Hispanic/Latino, African American/Black, Asian-American/Pacific-Islander, LGBTQ+ Experience across all media types (national, local, direct, OOH, TV/video, audio, print, experiential, sponsorships, etc.)
+ Media agency experience required
+ Adept at injecting ideas, innovation and leading industry developments into planning assignments.
+ Demonstrates an ability to be curious and passionate about our client’s business, getting ahead of category and industry trends with an informed POV.
+ Strong relationships with diverse-owned, diverse-reaching, and general media partners.
+ Meticulous and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
+ Ability to translate numbers into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables.
+ Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, Nielsen Suite, Kantar, IMS, flowchart software, R/F and optimization software, social tracking tools, comcore, Prisma, MRI/GfK, GWI. Must understand its capabilities and applications.

Compensation Range: $119,510 - $163,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
