Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Carry out all assigned tasks and normal activity in a safe and respectful manner
+ Follow the procurement of product development and certification projects:
+ Management of project procurement process to include but not limited to:
+ Perform task related to both building, curing, testing, and shipping of project tires
+ Reviewing and adhering to project schedule
+ Ordering/labeling production materials
+ Coordinating the procurement/Labeling of experimental materials with operations
+ Coordinating with operations and scheduling on specific equipment requirements for both two stage and Uni-stage processes
+ Procuring the required carcasses and green tires
+ Confirmation of electronic data set up and reporting/troubleshooting when needed
+ Completion of project documentation, control and hand off to next process
+ Procure project certified check tires with documented measurements and markings
+ Carry out evaluations/projects that address condition scrap, product/process improvements, and cost reductions
+ During periods of reduced project load all technicians are responsible for monitoring the cured and green condition scrap rate during their shifts, taking appropriate action when applicable, and attend shift meeting to discuss plans and action for reducing scrap
+ Responsibility for maintaining a clean and organized workplace per prescribed 5S standards as applicable.
Basic Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
+ Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations
+ Must share responsibility with fellow associates to work overtime to cover vacancies as needed
+ Ability to operate both manual & semi-automated industrial machinery
+ Ability to perform multiple tasks or operate multiple equipment/machines within any workday
