    Dispatcher (Part-Time)

    **Location:** Dubuque, IA

    Schedule:

    + **Training:**

    + 2 weeks from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    + 4 weeks from 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM

    + **Regular Hours:** Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

    + **Additional Requirement:** 2 Saturday shifts required

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Dispatcher to join a local company's team. In this role, you will coordinate bus schedules, dispatch drivers, and serve as the communication hub between transit employees and the public.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Dispatch buses and drivers via radio and telephone

    + Track vehicle and driver locations

    + Complete fill-in scheduling for absent drivers

    + Operate communication systems and computer terminals

    + Respond to customer questions, service requests, and complaints

    + Enter customer interactions into the CRM system

    + Prepare employee schedules, routes, and service documentation

    + Maintain accurate records and assist with reports

    + Process eligibility applications

    + Order and distribute materials, supplies, or equipment

    + Provide route and schedule information to customers and coworkers

    + Coordinate and support daily transit operations

    + Perform general clerical tasks as needed

    Qualifications:

    + Previous experience in dispatch, transportation, or customer service preferred

    + Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

    + Proficient with computers and willingness to learn new software

    + Dependable and detail-oriented
