What you'll be Doing
As a **Quality Assurance Assistant Coordinator** , you’ll help safeguard operational compliance and quality standards. Working closely with the Quality Assurance Lead Coordinator and various field teams, you’ll ensure our operations meet federal, state, and local requirements. Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:
• **Conduct Internal Audits** : Assess project sites and facilities to ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies.
• **Monitor Quality Processes** : Evaluate and document quality control activities across job sites.
• **Support Training & Documentation** : Assist in developing training and maintaining up-to-date manuals and compliance records.
• **Collaborate on Safety & Compliance** : Participate in walkthroughs and provide on-site insights to help mitigate risks.
• **Respond to Issues** : Assist in resolving QA/QC issues and act during on-call periods to address urgent quality concerns.
What You Bring to the Table
**Relevant Education** : Associate degree in General Sciences, Food Nutrition, Food Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields—or equivalent experience.
• **QA/Compliance Experience** : 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, or a related field.
• **Knowledge of Standards** : Familiarity with HACCP, FDA, USDA, CDC regulations; HACCP certification and Food Manager Certificate preferred.
• **Technical Proficiency** : Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, tracking, and communication.
• **Strong Communication** : Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, remain calm under pressure, and maintain a solutions-focused approach.
