About the Role

Conduent’s Payment Integrity Solutions team performs detailed pharmacy claims audits on behalf of major healthcare payers. As a **Pharmacist – Claims Auditor/Reviewer** , you’ll apply your clinical knowledge and regulatory expertise to assess pharmacy documentation, uncover billing discrepancies, and support compliance efforts. This unique role blends investigative work, travel, and healthcare impact.

Responsibilities

+ Conducting onsite and desktop audits of pharmacy claims and documentation

+ Comparing pharmacy records against payer claim data to identify inconsistencies

+ Applying federal/state regulations and pharmacy board requirements during audits

+ Communicating with pharmacies and clients about audit outcomes

+ Preparing case summaries and serving as a subject matter expert, including potential expert witness testimony

+ Supporting data mining projects and responding to clinical inquiries from clients or internal teams

+ Performing credentialing audits and assisting with call center tasks as needed

+ Documenting pharmacy procedures and assessing operational practices

+ Making appointment calls, handling audit scheduling, and managing reschedules

+ Lifting record boxes and standing for extended periods during audits

Requirements

+ Hold an active and valid Pharmacist License in your home state

+ Possess a Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution

+ Have at least 5 years of retail pharmacy experience

+ Demonstrate strong attention to detail and familiarity with pharmacy operations

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows environments

+ Comfortable traveling 25% to different pharmacy's

+ Capable of lifting and transporting pharmacy record boxes and standing for 8+ hours

+ Experience in Long-Term Care or Infusion pharmacy is a plus

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is ($60,000 - $65,000)
