    Required Skills:

    Front End Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test mobile and desktop web software applications or systems.

    2. Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.

    3. Implement features and user interfaces to optimize performance of user-facing products.

    4. Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user facing products.

    5. Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.

    6. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

    7. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    8. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field. Foreign degree equivalent is accepted.

    9. Position also requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:

    10. 1. Building mobile and desktop web applications using JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6

    11. 2. HTML or CSS including layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility

    12. 3. Browser APIs and optimizing front end performance of web-based applications

    13. 4. Front end development of mobile and desktop applications using React, Vue, or Angular

    14. 5. Debugging or benchmarking

    15. 6. Writing code for User Interface components

    Public Compensation:

    $227,339/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
