Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
The Business Services Revenue Specialist will be responsible for the tactical execution of the suite of GolfNow PLUS services and offerings, and will work closely with their partners, team leaders, and Manager.
This position will be staffed by individuals pursuing a career in revenue management or account management. A Revenue Specialist will have the opportunity to learn and utilize technology tools such as revenue management systems (RMS), customer relationship management systems (CRM), distribution platforms, and booking engines. Additionally, they will engage with data and analytics, performance reports, business intelligence tools, and proprietary price optimization software. Persons with hospitality, customer service, client support, and account management backgrounds can excel in this role focused on client relationships, retention, and consultation. A Revenue Specialist is focused on driving optimal revenue performance for their clients, and this role will report into the Business Services Manager.
Job Duties
+ Responsible for daily inventory management through various distribution channels.
+ Proactively and responsively managing inventory mix, pricing, and revenue strategies.
+ Consult with clients to influence adoption of revenue management best practices and supplemental products and services.
+ Maintain a high retention rate of clients by building relationships via consistent, regular, and timely communication, execution of deliverables, and continually delivering on our value propositions.
+ Become an expert user of inventory & marketing management software and dynamic pricing tools.
+ Monitor, analyze, and report on revenue performance using multiple business intelligence tools.
+ Collaborate with Brand Specialist by organizing and communicating strategic opportunities regarding revenue optimization and marketing.
+ Share weekly progress reports on a book of business with management.
+ Upsell some products and services.
+ Track activity and keep information up to date on accounts via Salesforce.
+ Actively participate in team meetings and projects.
+ Contribute to the evolution of the position.
+ Understand, contextualize, and present demand and revenue forecasts.
+ Special Projects TBD will be assigned as needed. Will need to be capable of meeting deadlines.
Basic Qualifications
+ 2+ years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and golf specific or hospitality revenue management training, experience and/or certification (CRME).
+ Reliable with the ability to work in a professional office setting and remotely without direct supervision in a demanding, fast paced, deadline driven environment.
+ Experience using Microsoft Excel
+ Capable of working in the MS Office suite of software products (O365)

+ Hotel/Airline/Sports Revenue Management experience a plus

Additional Job Requirements
+ Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice. It is essential the Revenue Specialist is willing and able to handle client emergencies outside of regular business hours, if needed.
+ Must be willing to work in Orlando, FL.
+ This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
