As Finance Senior Manager, you will fulfill a critical role driving the evolution of customer profitability analytics and data-driven decision-making at Citizens. Representing the Consumer Finance team, you will partner with colleagues across functions to support the development and ongoing refinement of a modern customer profitability tool encompassing the full Consumer bank, and you will drive the creation of use cases that deliver valuable data-driven insights to inform business strategy and decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the entire Consumer bank and make a broad impact on financial performance and how Citizens aims to serve its customers across product, segment, channel, and geography. You will report to the CFO of Customer Profitability, Marketing, and Enterprise Data & Analytics. You will join a small team within Consumer Finance focused on customer profitability, while your role will emphasize effective cross-functional partnership, particularly with the Enterprise Data & Analytics, Consumer Strategy, and broader Finance teams.

Primary responsibilities include:
+ Develop and refine financial methodologies, assumptions, and data sourcing across all revenues and costs for the Consumer bank, incorporating activity-based cost analysis and granular business and financial understanding.
+ Drive financial analysis on customer profitability data, identifying insights and opportunities based on differences in profitability and returns across many variations of customer segments, including product, segment, channel, and geography.
+ Design new customer profitability reporting for executive management and key decision-makers and summarize data observations and recommendations.
+ Lead the development of specific business cases using customer profitability data to unlock new insights for the business, partnering closely across business, strategy, marketing, and data & analytics teams.
+ Collaborate across functions on a daily basis to drive problem-solving, harness subject matter expertise, deliver insights, and seek and address feedback.
+ Support broad syndication and education around new customer profitability analytics, reporting, and insights across the enterprise.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
+ Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Strong working knowledge in accounting and finance
+ Effective leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
+ Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines, and solve complex problems
+ Preferred Qualifications
+ Masters degree in business, finance, or accounting
+ Prior experience in roles involving customer profitability and/or financial planning and analysis at a large financial institution
Hours & Work Schedule
+ Hours per Week: 40
+ Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
