Koniag IT Solutions,** a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Salesforce Architect/ Developer to support **KITS** and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. **This is a Remote opportunity.

Koniag IT Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect/Developer to lead the technical design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions. This role combines strategic architectural planning with hands-on development expertise to deliver innovative solutions for our government clients.

The Salesforce Architect/Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions while providing technical leadership to development teams.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Architect and design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards

+ Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance to development teams

+ Develop complex customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies

+ Create and maintain technical documentation including solution design documents

+ Establish best practices for development, security, and performance optimization

+ Mentor junior developers and provide technical oversight of deliverables

+ Evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies for potential implementation

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions

+ Manage integration architecture with external systems and third-party applications

Education and Experience Required:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

+ 8+ years of Salesforce development experience

+ 5+ years of experience in architectural roles

+ Salesforce Platform Developer II certification

+ Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification

Required Skills and Competencies:

+ Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations

+ Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce development

+ Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and sharing architecture

+ Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices

+ Proven experience designing large-scale Salesforce implementations

+ Strong knowledge of API integration patterns and middleware solutions

+ Experience with data migration and ETL tools

+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

+ Strong communication and leadership abilities

+ Experience with Agile development methodologies

+ Ability to obtain public trust clearance

Desired Skills and Competencies:

+ Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification

+ Experience with government IT projects

+ Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements

+ Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms

+ Additional certifications in Salesforce specialty clouds

+ Experience with AI/ML implementation in Salesforce

+ Experience with GearSet

+ Experience with GitHub

+ Knowledge of DevSecOps practices

+ Experience with change management in enterprise environments

+ Ability to obtain public trust clearance
