What You'll Do
We are seeking a highly strategic and technically grounded **Senior AI Security** **Product** **Manager** to lead the development of secure, compliant AI/ML capabilities while playing a central role in our broader **Information Security Program** . This role bridges the domains of **AI governance, cybersecurity, insider risk, and privacy** —ensuring that our AI systems are not only innovative, but also resilient, trustworthy, and well-defended against both internal and external threats.
You will drive product strategy, lead control implementation, and collaborate deeply with cross-functional teams including AI Governance, Privacy, Legal, and Risk. The ideal candidate is both a systems thinker and an influential communicator—capable of translating complex threats and technical detail into compelling narratives that align teams and drive results.
Key Responsibilities
AI Security Product Leadership
+ Lead the product strategy and roadmap for AI security, with a focus on threat detection, control implementation, and secure-by-design development across AI/ML pipelines.
+ Define and deliver protections against AI-specific risks such as model inversion, adversarial attacks, prompt injection, model extraction, and unauthorized AI use ("shadow AI").
+ Embed secure engineering practices across the AI lifecycle and MLOps infrastructure in partnership with Engineering, Security, and Data Science teams.
+ Monitor the evolving AI threat landscape and adapt product strategies to mitigate new risks and address changing regulatory demands (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001).
+ Develop and track KPIs and metrics that measure AI Security control effectiveness and program maturity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
+ Serve as a key contributor to the Information Security Program, ensuring AI security and insider threat efforts align with enterprise risk posture and compliance obligations.
+ Collaborate closely with AI Governance, Privacy, Legal, and Risk teams to define and enforce technical and policy controls aligned to emerging standards.
+ Support and help lead AI threat modeling and risk assessments as part of broader enterprise security reviews.
Influence & Communication
+ Translate complex AI Security issues, risks and threats into clear, compelling business narratives that align and influence diverse stakeholders, including executives and frontline teams.
+ Evangelize AI securitystrategies across the company, building awareness and shared accountability for risk reduction.
Who You Are
+ 6+ years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
+ Demonstrated experience managing multiple products.
+ Demonstrated success establishing product strategy.
+ Demonstrated success managing complex stakeholder expectations in a product environment.
+ Demonstrated success in both discovery and delivery against product outcomes.
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically and make decisions in a fast-paced environment, in multiple teams/functional areas/organizations.
+ Demonstrated success bringing together customer, user, or partner data and insights to make decisions in a product environment.
+ Coaching and mentoring experience in a professional setting.
+ 3+ years working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced product environment with product or engineering teams and stakeholders.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$123000 - $167000 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments
This role offers the ability for in-office and hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements in Des Moines, IA or Charlotte, NC locations. There is an expectation for this role to work on site at least 3 days a week.
