    OR Care Technician Coordinator Responsibilities

    + Ensures the timely and efficient completion of daily task assigned to the OR Care Techs.

    + Identifies orientation and educational needs and assists in designing and developing programs to promote education and enhance skills.

    + Assists the manager with the development and implementation of new programs and systems.

    + Screens candidates for replacement positions and participates in the completion of annual performance and competency evaluations.

    + Assists the manager in the monthly scheduling of the OR assistants.

    + Promotes communication and collaboration among staff to enhance customer service to patients, surgeons and other members of the health care team.

    Requirements:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + High School or Equivalent

    + Minimum of 2-year experience in a related field (Surgical Related, Sterile Processing, Patient Care)

    + Preferred - Specialized education in PCT, LPN, EMT, MA, or CNA

    + Preferred - 1-year - Coordinator Role in a related field

    + Preferred - Interpersonal skills

    Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
