We are currently recruiting for a compassionate **Hospice Spiritual Counselor** to reliably serve patients throughout **Bucks and Montgomery county. This is a full-time position.**

What you’ll do:

As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice Spiritual Counselor you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA clinician you will:

+ Develop and adhere to the client's spiritual care plan.

+ Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and family members.

+ Complete documentation accurately and timely.

+ Must be reliable and punctual.

+ Must demonstrate an appropriate attitude.

+ Participate in providing bereavement services to family members, referral sources, and the community.

What you should have:

+ Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in Counseling preferred or have graduated from an approved divinity school.

+ One year of experience in a spiritual counseling capacity in a health care setting, preferably hospice or palliative care.

+ Must be willing to travel coverage area of office.

+ Previous home healthcare experience welcomed, but not required. **We will train you** .

+ Ability to travel to cases as assigned

+ A calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication.

+ The ability to deliver patient care as you would want those you love to be treated, with compassion, excellence, and reliability _._
