    Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Responsibilities The Psychological Services Program Manager is the clinical lead and supervisor over the following outpatient services: Neuropsychology, Geropsychology, and Outpatient Subspecialty Mental Health Psychological Services. Duties: The incumbent plans, develops, implements and oversees all components of the facility's EBP, Neuropsychology and subspecialty psychology programming and its services provided to Veterans. Duties include, but are not limited to:\ Program Management Responsibilities: Provides program management of the Neuropsychology, Geropsychology, and Outpatient Subspecialty Mental Health Psychology Services teams Has direct administrative and professional supervision, and direct supervisory responsibility for the Psychologists (GS-11, GS-12 or GS-13), integrated into the specialty areas, as well as, the Social Work therapists/staff and psychometrists as well. This includes completing annual performance evaluations for these staff. Functions as the Psychiatry and Mental Health Services' EBP (Evidence-Based Psychotherapy) Coordinator, and maintains oversight of EBP assignments, training and maintenance and implementation of EBPs in the Mental Health Clinic, including for services provided in/for: Neuropsychology, Geropsychology; ,and subspecialty psychology Services; in the Medical Center and its CBOCs. Functions as the Facility clinical lead and is responsible for training and assessing staff competence in Neuropsychology, Geropsychology and psychological subspecialty areas assigned. Oversight and administrative authority over programming in the Neuropsychology, Geropsychology and psychological subspecialty areas sections assigned, and participates in program development, implementation and evaluation, under the policies of the Psychiatry and Mental Health Service. Oversight of Veteran care, teaching/training, research, and administrative activities for clinical operations and staff in the assigned sections. Administrative and clinical responsibility for planning and directing the Neuropsychology, Geropsychology and psychological subspecialty areas clinical services, training, research and staff duties across the variety of clinical settings in which they occur (Medical Center, and the CBOCs). Research/Program Evaluation: Monitors program outcomes using data-driven quality assurance processes. Responsible for EBP Coordination. Responsible for timely completion of all program evaluations and documents required by the Medical Center, VISN and VACO, ensuring compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies such as Joint Commission. Consults with others to offer guidance and stimulation in research directions for the program. Plan and oversees the completion of research programs, designed to provide information regarding program planning and relevant treatment approaches. Presents outcome data/research results at VA and national scientific meetings. Serves on Medical Center, VISN and National VA committees, as appropriate or assigned. Clinical Responsibilities: Provides a full range of psychological services Has direct responsibility for all aspects of psychological services conducted by trainees and staff. Consults professional personnel concerning development of psychological services. Academic/Teaching/Training: May hold faculty appointment Provides clinical consultation to various disciplines and levels of training including: MD's, RN's, PhD's, LCSW's, OT's, PT's, and trainees.
