Assistant Coach Girls Swim and Dive
Support the head coach in leading a compettive and inclusive Girls Swim and Dive team. Help develop athletes' skills, teamwork and character in alignment with Blake School values.
Qualifications
+ Experience coaching or competing in swim/dive at high school, club, or collegiate level
+ Strong communication and leadership skills
+ Ability to motivate and support athletes of all abilities
+ First Aid/CPR and MSHSL coaching certification (or willingness to obtain)
+ Availability for the fall season (mid-August to early November)
Required Experience:
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist with daily practice planning and execution (swimming and diving)
+ Provide individualized coaching and feedback to swimmers and divers
+ Help prepare for meets (lineups, warm-ups, logistics)
+ Supervise athletes during practices, meets, and team events
+ Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive team culture
+ Communicate with athletes, families, and coaching staff as needed
+ Ensure compliance with MSHSL rules and school policies
+ Serve as a mentor and role model reflecting Blake’s core values
