Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Troy, MI.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative battery solutions.

**Job Title:** Electrical Engineer | Contract to Hire

**Location:** Troy, MI | 100% onsite

What's the Job?

+ Responsible for Electrical Design work on Li-ion Battery and other xEV Systems

+ Develop schematics, wiring diagrams and select components for advanced battery designs

+ Utilize Labview and follow laboratory and vehicle test procedures to determine system performance and interactions

+ Support Electrical System Engineering Activities (Requirement & Specifications, DFMEAs, DVPs, etc.)

+ Coordinate design, prototyping, and testing activities with technicians, co-workers, suppliers, and others

What's Needed?

+ BS in Electrical Engineering

+ Minimum of five years' experience in electrical component design

+ Proficient with testing tools and electrical and battery test equipment

+ Proficient with PCB board design software such as Orcad, Altium, etc.

+ High voltage training; High voltage battery design experience strongly preferred
