    About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist for Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB) Operations supporting their Customer Service functions.

    In this role, you will:

    + Participate in identifying, assessing and mitigating operational risk, compliance risk and emerging risks

    + Analyze RCSA process, risk, and control data for efficiency opportunities and potential automation

    + Facilitate the execution of RSCA workshops with Customer Service business partners and other second line of defense representatives

    + Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and business controls for process changes and new business initiatives

    + Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the control effectiveness for Customer Service business lines

    + Assist in the development and documentation of controls

    + Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and documentation associated with the issue management process (including facilitating root cause analysis)

    + Monitor QA/QC reporting to identify breakdowns in processes and challenge business responses

    + Draft and submit change requests to make required updates to processes, risks and controls

    + Create materials to be used in monthly business reviews with executive leadership

    + Collaborate with relevant business groups (e.g., operational risk, compliance, legal) to align on risk mitigation strategies.

    Required Qualifications:

    + 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)

    + Experience with Issue Management

    + Experience in designing, monitoring and remediation of controls

    + Experience conducting root cause analysis to create remediation plans, remediation success criteria and control documentation

    + Understanding of Risk and Control Taxonomy

    + Experience communicating effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders and various LOB stakeholders

    + Ability to drive and lead organizational change, prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

    + Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

    + Ability to positively influence decision-making and successfully make quick decisions and implement solutions

    + Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills in order to meet stringent deadlines

    + Experience with SHRP and Veritas

    + Advanced experience with Microsoft Office

    Job Expectations:

    + Ability to work a hybrid work schedule – 3 days in office / 2 days remote

    + Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
