    Position Responsibilities:

    Designing, building and owning a software framework and related services which are highly distributed, large scale web services forming a core part of our SDN software ecosystem. Work with a team of talented developers, and principal engineers to build the next generation software services. Create an intent-based, scalable network, and respond quickly and safely to network changes such as scaling, maintenance, failure, security and other types of events. Drive up performance, availability and reliability. Gain hands-on experience with fully automated hyper-scale data center networks, cloud infrastructure, large-scale software deployments, algorithms, distributed systems, lambda-based and service-oriented architectures.

     

    40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $222,477/year to $247,600/year.

    Basic Qualifications

    Position Requirements:

    Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) IP networking fundamentals; (2) applying IP protocols; (3) network analysis fundamentals; (4) working with major network operating systems Cisco IOS or Junos; (5) experience with Unix/Linux; and (6) scripting in Python, Perl, or Shell. Up to 20% domestic and/or international travel may be required.#0000
