**Location:** Must be based in one of the following locations—Illinois, Ohio, or Atlanta—and open to traveling up to 70% for client meetings.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Sales with expertise in Manufacturing to join our DXC Automotive & Manufacturing Industry Sales Team for Consulting and Engineering Services (CES).
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets while accommodating varied sales cycle demands.
+ Maintain a well-managed sales pipeline and continuously educate customers about products, pricing, and market differentiators.
+ Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients to foster long-term business relationships.
+ Ability to stitch solutions to holistic requirements of clients and take it in consultative manner to senior stakeholders in organization
+ Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to identify new business prospects and strategies.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure departmental alignment and mutual support.
+ Innovate within the sales process by introducing process improvements and new technologies.
+ Handle complex sales negotiations and participate in deal closings.
Required Qualifications & Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 10+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role
+ Proven track record in sales and sales enablement for existing and new logo pursuits
+ Good understanding and relationships with the Manufacturing industry clients and ecosystem
+ Knowledge of modern Manufacturing technologies in the key domains of Consulting, Enterprise & Custom Applications, Data & AI, SW development & engineering services, and Smart Manufacturing
+ Proficiencies in sales strategy development, customer relationship management, market analysis, and consultative selling
+ A continuous learner who stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
+ Relevant certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP) are a plus
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $114,200 - $212,000.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
