2nd Shift Machinist/CNC/Manual

Nidec Minster is currently seeking a 2nd shift Machinist/CNC/Manual for our Minster, Ohio location. Machinists for Nidec Minster will work in an engineered-to-order "job shop" environment where our products are made one at a time requiring many setups and holding close tolerances.

Machinist Job Responsibilities:

+ Safely operate machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders and machining centers with multiple capabilities.

+ Machine setup, tool setting, loading and unloading fixtures and tools, and deburring.

+ Inspection of cell products and material movement associated with the cell.

+ Direct customer contact may be required at times.

+ Preventive maintenance.

+ Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

Machinist Qualifications:

+ Specialized training such as a JVS or tech school is a plus.

+ Ability to read complex engineering drawing and work in close tolerances.

+ Must be able to operate CNC and manual machining equipment.

+ Ability to program CNC equipment a plus.

+ A manufacturing background in a "job shop" environment preferred.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills.

+ Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
