As a **Security Officer - Armed Site - Full Time** in **Tampa, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with inquiries, and delivering outstanding customer service. This post requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving may be part of your duties. Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observing for any unusual circumstances.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, particularly in areas related to technology, media, or telecommunications operations.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to site protocols.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations is preferred.

+ Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
