    As a **Security Officer - Medical Facility Patrol** in **Baltimore, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

     

    As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting staff and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. This position does not require driving or carrying a weapon.

    Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    Day** **Time

     

    Thur02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

     

    Sat02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

    + Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.

    + Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

    + Support the enforcement of facility rules and regulations as directed by site leadership.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

    + A valid guard card or license is preferred.

    + CPR certification is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
