Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. In this Accounts Receivable Specialist role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining positive relationships with customers. This Accounts Receivable Specialist position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail. Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities:
• Prepare and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor incoming payments, track overdue accounts, and follow up with customers to resolve outstanding balances.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all financial transactions and correspondence with clients.
• Apply payments to customer accounts accurately and address any discrepancies or issues.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and improve payment processes.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle to manage accounts receivable processes.
• Generate reports on payment statuses and account activity for management review.
• Assist in the implementation of efficient collection strategies to enhance cash flow.
• Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries related to billing or payment issues.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and cash application processes.
• Strong knowledge of billing and commercial collections procedures.
• Experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and best practices in accounts receivable.
