Description We are looking for a dedicated Director of Business Services to oversee and manage procurement, vendor relations, and operational processes within our healthcare organization based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This role requires strategic leadership and collaboration across finance, facilities, and administrative departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee day-to-day business operations in coordination with finance, facilities, and administrative departments.

• Implement and support safety protocols, including universal precautions, fire/safety plans, and risk management procedures.

• Maintain privacy and dignity standards, ensuring compliance with regulations regarding individual care and identity protection.

• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and compliance with all relevant laws and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and enforce policies to maintain a work environment free from harassment and discriminatory practices.

• Manage vendor negotiations to secure favorable payment terms, competitive pricing, and high-quality products and services.

• Identify and onboard new vendors and contractors for procurement, property maintenance, utilities, construction, and equipment needs.

• Supervise and guide the Purchasing Manager, Fleet Manager, and Facilities Manager in their respective roles.

• Monitor and address unsafe working conditions, overseeing equipment maintenance and repair needs.

• Familiarize and enforce organizational policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence. Requirements • Proven experience in vendor negotiation and corporate procurement.

• Strong knowledge of purchasing management processes.

• Proficiency in facilities and fleet management.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Excellent leadership skills to manage and guide multiple teams.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Background in overseeing operational processes in healthcare or similar industries.
