Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting and a desire to grow your career? Robert Half is partnering with an established company to find a motivated Junior Accountant for a Contract-to-Permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity to build your skills, gain hands-on experience, and transition into a permanent role within an organization that values development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including data entry and invoice processing.

+ Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations.

+ Support month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring accurate financial reporting.

+ Help maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation.

+ Assist with reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and vendor accounts.

+ Generate reports and summaries for management to assist in financial analysis.

+ Handle administrative and clerical tasks to support the accounting team.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

+ 1+ years of experience in an entry-level accounting or bookkeeping role. Internship experience is welcome.

+ Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Excel.

+ Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting processes.

+ Strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry, and ability to meet deadlines.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
