Onsite Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager Opportunity!
About the Role
Are you a skilled Senior Accountant with a passion for optimizing financial operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our client’s team as their Senior Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to make a measurable impact in a growing organization located near Lebanon, TN.
As the Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing financial reporting, driving process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
uKey Responsibilities
+ Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
+ Analyze financial statements and provide actionable insights on variances, cost control, and operational efficiencies.
+ Collaborate closely with operational teams to monitor and reduce manufacturing costs, inventory variances, and production expenses.
+ Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking.
+ Lead periodic budget preparation and forecasting efforts to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
+ Support internal and external audits, including documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
+ Mentor and assist junior accounting staff, as needed, while fostering a team-focused work environment.
rDesired Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
+ Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in accounting, with specific focus on manufacturing or similar industries.
+ Technical Skills:
+ Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is highly desirable.
+ Strong Excel skills for data manipulation, financial modeling, and reporting.
+ Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
+ Certifications: CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
• Strong understanding of auditing practices and financial compliance.
• Proficiency with SAP and other accounting software systems.
• Experience with budget development, monitoring, and reporting.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
